It's Chico Time!

It's Chico Time! (2025) is a thriller, comedy film directed by Rafael Sá Carneiro, João Severo.

In 1974, Chico, a beloved host of a children’s TV show at the service of a repressive authoritarian regime, is forced to make the hardest decision of his life: murder a colleague live on air, or lose the approval of his powerful father. As the cameras roll, the program unravels into a surreal theatre of obedience, repression, and madness.
